PLASTIC WEED MATS

California AG Supply now offers plastic weed mat for agricultural growers.     We sell HIUV-5 weed mat which lasts longer in high ultra violet light areas like the San Joaquin Valley of California.     The weed mat can save water, improve weed control and plant growth.

Following are some samples of our installations. 

Weed Mat on organic pomegranates.  These are 4 foot wide rolls on each side of the tree.   They are buried with soil on the outside and clipped down with metal clips where the 2 rolls meet on the inside.	The outside 6 to 10 inches of the weed mat are buried under 4 to 6 inches of soil.

California Ag Supply can not only offer good pricing on the weed mat but also provide advise for installation.   There are several ways to install this mat  The preceding pictures show one method of applying to strips on each side of the tree, burying the outside and attaching the inside with metal clips.

The weed mat comes in widths of 3 feet, 4 feet, and 6 feet.  

The length of a roll is 300 feet.

Special orders for different widths and lengths are possible.

The weed mat will last 6 to 7 years under the high ultra violet light conditions of the San Joaquin Valley.
