Weekly Select Trap Counts

In 2007 NOW monitor will keep on its website (www.nowmonitor.com) weekly trap counts from the NOW Monitor lure from select almond, pistachio, walnut and fig orchards in the San Joaquin Valley.    Check our web site starting in mid-March to see these weekly updates.

Note these trap counts may or may not be indicative of your orchard.   Use this information as a general guideline as to what is going on with NOW.   Never use this information to time a pest control activity in your orchard.

No nut damage in 2006.   Trees 4 years old.     Avalon and Non-Pareil.     Poor winter sanitation.    Lots of mummies and hulls with NOW in them.    Goniozus applied at 1,000 per acre in early March.
Less than 1% damage all insects at harvest.
